An update to the Arcadia referendum

(WLAX/WEUX) – An operating referendum for the school district of Arcadia did not pass. 801 people in Trempealeau County voted no, compared to 601 who voted yes. The district superintendent, Lori Frerk, said the district will face some challenges without an increase in funding from taxpayers. She added that the district will seek ways to reduce costs and maximize resources, while still serving its students and the community.
