A Dallas Veterans Affairs officer was in the right place at the right time to save a young boy’s life earlier this month. The entire encounter took place in less than a minute. But for the 2-year-old who was choking, every second counted.
An out-of-service out-of-service police officer stationed at Tudela police station has had a decisive intervention this weekend with a 10-year-old boy who was choking as a result of a caramel.
The officer, who witnessed a match of his son, acted quickly and effectively in applying Heimlich's maneuver.
