Nearly two years after the tragic deaths of two firefighters in a fire at a tenement building on Kraszewskiego Street in Poznań, the prosecutor's office has filed charges. The investigation was challenging, but it confirmed initial suspicions that batteries stored in the building were to blame. "We have waited a long time to determine why what happened happened," wrote colleagues from Fire and Rescue Unit 5 in Poznań.
Adam H. and Agnieszka W-H., responsible for the operations of LUPO sp. z o.o., have been charged with the fire, explosion, and collapse of a tenement building at 12 Kraszewskiego Street in Poznań. Two firefighters died in the August 2024 tragedy.
