85-year-old Ujagar Lal died in the haste of the VIP convoy after the program of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Indranagar crossing in Kanpur. He was crushed by a bus coming in haste after the siren sounded. Ujagar Lal was a resident of Naramau and a retired postmaster. The police have taken the bus and the driver into custody and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
