The second presidential bill on cryptoassets was submitted to the Marshal's Office this morning, announced Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the Presidential Chancellery, on Tuesday. He emphasized that the new bill is a "project of means and understanding."
The President's Chancellery announced that the second presidential bill regulating the crypto-asset market has been submitted to the Sejm (lower house of parliament). The new proposal comes just after the presidential veto over government regulations was upheld in the Sejm. Media reports indicate that the political dispute is being overshadowed by accusations surrounding a bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange.
“This morning (September 8), the second presidential bill on the crypto-asset market was submitted,” said Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the President's Chancellery. As he stressed, the new proposal is intended to be an attempt to end the months-long dispute over the regulation of the cryptocurrency market. “This submission is an attempt to resolve this barren dispute that has been going on since last year,” Bogucki said.
