An Amtrak train carrying over 100 passengers derailed in Northfield Tuesday afternoon, according to Amtrak and Western Mass News. The engine and one passenger car’s wheels derailed shortly after 2 p.m. near Brattleboro, Vermont, while traveling at a low speed, Amtrak said in a statement. None of the 113 passengers or any Amtrak employees were injured.
