Playing for district titles has become an annual tradition for Amherst softball. Winning district titles has become one, too. In their ninth-straight district final appearance, the fourth-seeded Comets were crowned Division II district champions on May 23 with a 6-3 victory over No. 10 Twinsburg at Avon.
