DES MOINES, Iowa -- Police in Ames have made an arrest in a string of vehicle burglaries. Kamren Schmidt Kamren Schmidt, 18 of Ames, has been arrested and charged with Theft 2nd Degree, four counts of Burglary 3rd Degree-Motor Vehicle, Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree-Vehicle, and Theft 5th Degree.
