Amazon announced on Thursday that it had made 18.2 billion net profits in the second quarter, a 35% jump over a year.
American online giant Amazon increased its net profit by 35 percent to $18.2 billion in the second quarter of this year compared to the same quarter last year, while revenue rose by 13 percent to $167.7 billion. With both figures, it exceeded the expectations of Wall Street analysts, NBC television reports.
Amazon reported net income of US$18.16 billion from April to June 2025. The result, released in its financial statement this Thursday (July 31, 2025), represents a 34.71% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
