Ten years ago, the region around Amatrice in Italy was shaken by severe earthquakes - 300 people died. Today, Prime Minister Meloni came to mind. Reconstruction continues to be slow.

"It is not about controversy, but everyone's commitment, starting with the State and its institutions, the Church, the passion and creativity of everyone. There is a lot to do but the worst is behind it," stressed the Predecessor of the CEI during the Mass for the ten years since the earthquake of 2016 that made 299 victims.
The intervention of the President of the Republic: "Rehabilitating is a path, not without complexity, which requires the commitment to be completed as soon as possible and is a reminder of the collective responsibility to restore that normality that has been broken in the territories affected by this tragedy"
The photos show a village still largely razed to the ground, where no one lives anymore and where even the cemetery is a construction site
