Amateur baseball: Rough start ends Regal Eagles' state run

HUTCHINSON — A shaky start ended the Regal Eagles’ chances at reaching the state finals. The Le Sueur Braves jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning against Regal. The Eagles weren’t able to climb out of that hole. Le Sueur won the Class C State Amatuer Baseball tournament quarterfinal game 6-2 Saturday at Veterans Memorial Field.
