Amateur baseball: Johnson propels Paynesville Pirates past Greenwald Cubs

PAYNESVILLE — Luke Johnson put the Paynesville Pirates over the top in an exhibition amateur baseball win on Wednesday. Johnson hit a grand slam in the bottom of the fourth inning in Paynesville’s 9-1 victory over the Greenwald Cubs. The grand slam was part of a 3-for-3 game for Johnson.
