World’s First ‘Bluey’ Ride to Debut at U.K. Theme Park
The junior rollercoaster will expand Alton Towers’ Bluey-themed attractions, celebrating the show's 770 million BBC iPlayer streams and global popularity among children.
- On September 8, 2025, Alton Towers Resort announced a Bluey-themed junior rollercoaster arriving in spring 2026 at CBeebies Land in the U.K.
- Following May 2024's hotel launch, the ride builds on Bluey's status as the top show on CBeebies with more than 770 million BBC iPlayer streams and celebrates CBeebies Land's 10th anniversary.
- Alongside existing Bluey experiences, the coaster will join the Heeler family meet-and-greet and Bluey live stage show, while Merlin Entertainments senior vice president Sabrina de Carvalho keeps ride details under wraps.
- Fans can then stay in bespoke Bluey-themed hotel rooms recreating Bluey and Bingo's bedroom, and Alton Towers Resort said more details will follow in the coming months.
- Rather than debuting at a Disney park, the first Bluey rollercoaster arrives next year at Merlin-owned Alton Towers, following last year's Disney Experiences plans and Brisbane's Bluey's World immersive experience.
