Alpine Road construction to cause delays in Rockford

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Alpine Road is set to be the next in a slew of streets under construction in Rockford. The outside lanes of North Alpine, between Brookview and Highcrest Roads, will be closed starting June 18. Delays should be expected, and drivers are encouraged to take different routes. The City of Rockford did not give an estimated date for the construction to be complete.
