A tractor and a glider aircraft took off shortly after 1 p.m. from the Barcelonnette aerodrome and the accident occurred shortly thereafter, according to the gendarmes.


Two men aged 78 and 79 - one from Switzerland and the other from Germany - died after the crash of a passenger plane with his towed glider plane, reports Le Dauphiné Libéré.
An investigation is under way to understand the circumstances of this accident, in which both pilots died.
