The International Olympic Committee could not minimize the departure of Edgar Grospiron from the presidency of the Alps 2030, stressing, on Monday 14 September morning, that this is not "annoid event." While a delegation is present until Wednesday in the Lyon metropolis to structure the ice pole of the upcoming Olympic Winter Games, the IOC insisted on the calendar to be held.
Asked about his possible interest in the post that freed himself at the head of the Cojop 2030, the former chairman of the organizing committee of Paris 2024 clearly closed the door.
The name of Tony Estanguet circulated among the possible successors of Edgar Grospiron at the head of the organizing committee of the 2030 Winter Games. The former president of Paris 2024 assures however that he will not take over the project.

The majority of decision-makers are dreaming of installing the six-time Olympic champion as chairman of the organizing committee, but it's not that simple.
