Aston Martin Honda F1 suffered a double retirement in the 2026 F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the 15th race of the season. Lance Stroll stopped his car on the track early in the race, and Fernando Alonso also returned to the pits on lap 22 to end his race. If Aston Martin’s weekend in Baku was already a nightmare, the race ended up turning it into a complete disaster. Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso left the Azerbaijan GP 2026 and left the Silverstone team without any of their two cars on track before they even arrived.
