A new barometer shows that almost four out of ten Portuguese consider that their economic situation has worsened. 63% believe that it can worsen by the end of the year.
Almost four in ten Portuguese say they are worse today than a year ago. Only 14% say they are better. Almost half consider that the situation has remained. This is the result of the DN/Aximage barometer that has been following the economic situation of Portuguese families.
Barometer DN/Aximage reveals that four out of ten Portuguese say they are worse today than a year ago, with loss of purchasing power, pessimism regarding the increase in the cost of living until the end of 2026 and strong division between opposition and AD voters on the economic situation and the government's responses.
