The city of Suwaida in southern Syria is again under complete control of the Druze.
After days of fighting, the Druses have expelled hostile Bedouins from the southern Syrian city of Suwaida. However, the tribes are likely to continue to launch attacks, and the ceasefire, which was actually agreed upon, is fragile.
Since the night there has been another ceasefire for the south of Syria - but apparently not all sides adhere to it. From the province of Suwaida there are further reports about fighting. In the meantime nearly 1,000 deaths are reported.
Tens of thousands are fleeing the riots. The Foreign Ministers of Germany and France have discussed the situation. US gas companies want to rebuild energy networks.
