Nearly 60% of women working in Portugal received a basic wage of up to EUR 1,000 gross in November 2025, while one in five won the national minimum wage, concluded a study prepared by the CGTP. "In Portugal more than half of the workers (55.9%) received at least EUR 1,000 gross basic wage in November 2025", states the study prepared by the Commission for the Equality between Women and Men of the CGTP, to mark the week of equality and Inte Day.
In November 2025, more than half of the workers in Portugal (55.9%) received at least EUR 1000 gross, while among men the proportion of this value was lower, at 53.5%.
