LOW MOOR — Alleghany County supervisors have put the 2025-26 budget process behind them. Tuesday, supervisors adopted water and sewer rates along with the budget and accompanying tax rates. The $100,892,735 budget is based on a real estate tax rate of 49 cents per $100 of assessed value on real property and mobile homes for the 2025 tax year.
