State to switch to 'All-Electronic Toll' system on Everett Turnpike in Bedford in early January

State officials are planning to stop collecting cash on the northbound and southbound lanes of the Everett Turnpike at the Bedford toll booths.

Starting a few hours after the evening commute Jan. 8, you won’t be able to use cash to pay at the Bedford toll plaza on the F.E. Everett Turnpike.
