On August 15, a beehive was unveiled at the Ignalina District, Apiculture Museum in Stripeikiai, in memory of musicologist, LRT presenter, and LMTA associate professor Zita Kelmickaitė. The originator of the idea, museum director Danutė Indrašienė, says that the life of bees reminds her of Zita Kelmickaitė. She was bubbling, passionate, and complex – just like bees, which not everyone can access.
