- Starting June 30, Alibaba cannot provide "goods, services or technology" to the Department of Defense, with further prohibitions on "contracting for goods and services" beginning in 2027.
- The Pentagon's list has grown to 188 firms, up from 134 in 2025, while China's embassy in Washington condemned the designations as "discriminatory," urging a fair environment for Chinese companies.
