Pointed out after his move to Algerian land at the beginning of the week, the deputy of the group La France insoumise published a press release this Friday evening, responding in particular to Bruno Retailleau. The minister of the interior had accused him of not mentioning the situation.
In the midst of controversy, MP LFI Sébastien Delogu again made talk about him. Invited to the Algerian channel AL24 News, he made some surprising remarks towards Poland.
In interviews granted to Algerian media, the elected representative had not mentioned the situation of journalist Christophe Gleizes and writer Boualem Sansal. "I was not questioned on these subjects", he justifies.
In a press release issued on 4 July, MP LFI justified himself on his highly commented trip to Algeria, after which his party had been in a strong position.
On the other side of the Mediterranean, the elected Marseilles did not have a mandate to speak in the name of the unsubmissed movement. His deafening silence on the fate of the writer Boualem Sansal and journalist Christophe Gleizes, as well as his excess of zeal for Algiers, led Jean-Luc Mélenchon to disassociate publicly.
