The two countries have signed two agreements in recent days in Algiers. Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation, the first aims to digitise and modernise the Algerian electricity network. The second, between the Algerian company Sonatrach and the German company VNG AG, aims to develop green hydrogen projects to reduce methane emissions in the country.
