VINALHAVEN — Alfred S. Osgood, “Al” or “Big Al,” 83, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, August 14, 2026, at his home in Vinalhaven. In his family, in the commercial fishing industry, and across the island he loved, his passing has not left a hole behind him, but a crater.
