Alfred Montgomery 'temporarily' removed as St. Louis Sheriff, judge rules

A judge cited Sheriff Montgomery's federal custody and bond violations including witness harassment and firearms nondisclosure in temporarily removing him from office.

Alfred Montgomery has been "temporarily" removed from the office of St. Louis Sheriff, according to a ruling Wednesday from St. Louis Circuit Judge Steven Ohmer.
