The zebra mussel, one of the most harmful invasive species to aquatic ecosystems and hydraulic infrastructures, has been detected in one of the large reservoirs of the Guadalquivir, the Torre del Águila, located in the municipality of Utrera. This situation has forced the Guadalquivir Hydrographic Confederation to establish urgent measures in response to this situation of alert, among which is the confinement of the navigation.
