Aldi to rebrand as 'Baldi' for one day to help break Guinness World Record
The pop-up will give fans free bald caps and sunglasses as Pitbull seeks a Guinness World Record for the largest bald-cap gathering.
Aldi will temporarily rebrand as 'Baldi' on Friday to support Pitbull's headline show at BST Hyde Park, which runs through Sunday. The supermarket giant launches this tribute to celebrate the singer's upcoming performance.
Pitbull aims to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps during his London show at BST Hyde Park. The record attempt drives the creative partnership.
Located outside Hyde Park, the 'Baldi' pop-up stall distributes free bald caps, aviator sunglasses, and temporary tattoos to help fans complete the Worldwide look. Supplies are available while stocks last.
Chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, Julie Ashfield, said "we knew we had to get involved and show our support" for the record attempt. The stall helps fans transform into the Worldwide look.
High demand is expected, with many fans eager to join the attempt and don the Pitbull-inspired look. The 'Firebald' banner and 'Baldi' logo will offer photo opportunities throughout the festival.
