Aldi drops prices on over 400 products in new summer deal
- Aldi announced it is cutting prices on over 400 products across its 2,400 US stores this summer to help customers save money.
- This price reduction follows the Department of Agriculture’s forecast of at least a 3.3 percent rise in grocery prices this year amid tariff policies announced earlier in 2025.
- From now through Labor Day, Aldi will offer discounts on roughly a quarter of its merchandise, featuring items such as barbecue meats, fresh organic fruits and vegetables, staple pantry products, and other favored summer essentials.
- Aldi plans for its customers to save over $100 million during the promotion, with CEO Jason Hart saying, “We want to do what we can to help shoppers.”
- Alongside the price cuts, Aldi aims to open over 225 new stores this year as part of a five-year plan to reach 800 locations by 2028 to expand its affordable grocery model nationwide.
