On Thursday, the National Assembly adopted an amendment allowing law enforcement officers to carry out checks on alcohol and narcotics at sea. It is a long-standing fight between deputy Sophie Panonacle and the family of 8-year-old Benjamin, killed by a fisherman under the influence of narcotics off Arcachon.
