Filipino Canadians are rallying around each other in the aftermath of the Lapu-Lapu Day Festival tragedy in Vancouver, in what's known as bayanihan, the tradition of helping one's community inherent to Filipino culture. One community organizer says it has been a “lifeline” for grieving Filipinos nationwide.
