Survivors’ group No One Above has urged the Government to act to ‘deliver justice’ to victims of the billionaire Harrods owner.
The Met Police has been accused of failing in its legal duty to victims allegedly trafficked by former Harrods and Fulham FC owner Mohamed Al Fayed.
At least five survivors have now been officially recognised by the Home Office as victims of modern slavery. Four say the Met failed to offer them referrals to the UK’s official support system when they came forward. The officer leading the investigation says work on potential referrals is continuing.
