AKRON, Ohio — A Summit County jury has convicted a 36-year-old Akron man of raping a teenaged girl after meeting her at a bar and getting her drunk.Summit County Common Pleas Court records show Javid Ruiz was found guilty of rape by force, rape of an impaired person, gross sexual imposition, and failure to comply with underage alcohol laws.
