UPI charge akin to ‘chungi’, aims to extract money from people: Akhilesh
Addressing media persons at the party’s state headquarters here, Yadav said the Samajwadi Party was opposed to any plan to collect money through UPI. “BJP people are ‘chungijeevi’. To turn the economy into a trillion-dollar one, this is all that is left for the chungijeevi,” he said.
SP President Akhilesh Yadav targeted the BJP government on several issues on Vishwakarma Jayanti. He promised to build a grand temple for Lord Vishwakarma on the Gomti Riverfront and declare a holiday on the birth anniversary if the SP comes to power. Akhilesh also questioned the government regarding the quality of the expressway and the UPI fee.
