A spokesman for Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party, Omer Çelik, on Thursday called for an immediate end to the Russian-Ukrainian war and a return to talks in Istanbul, warning that the conflict has turned into a war of attrition that carries increasing risks for the Black Sea region.
"It is necessary for this stage to be completed as soon as possible, for a negotiation table to be established in Istanbul and for a result to be achieved."
AK Party Spokesperson Çelik: "(Regarding the Russia-Ukraine war) The vicious cycle must end as soon as possible, and a solution must definitely be reached by setting up a table in Istanbul."
