Ajinomoto wastewater plant in design phase; burden reduced now on city facility

By the fall of 2027, a new wastewater treatment facility owned and operated by Ajinomoto Foods should be in place that vastly reduces the burden on the city’s wastewater plant. Bruce Schroeder, general manager of Ajinomoto Foods Lampasas, said the treatment plant should be complete no later than September 2027.
