Ajax director Menno Geelen has been officially elected as a board member of the European Football Clubs. He succeeds Dennis te Kloese and will have an important voice within the advocacy group for over nine hundred European professional clubs.
Menno Geelen is joining the board of the influential European Football Clubs (EFC). Ajax confirmed this following reports by De Telegraaf. The general manager of Ajax is the successor to Dennis te Kloese, who had to relinquish his position after leaving Feyenoord.
