Airport Rd. in Kinston to reopen after long closure on Oct. 17

KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) -- Airport Road in Kinston has been temporarily closed since June 9 for bridge construction and is set to reopen on Oct. 17 at 5:00 PM. The long-term closure of SR-1578 (Airport Road) near Heritage Street in Kinston, which began on June 9 for bridge construction, is set to end on Oct. 17 at 5:00 PM.
