Airbus Defence and Space has just completed full-scale in-flight tests of its future forest fire-fighting aircraft. A series of delay drop tests of an A400M aircraft equipped with its fire-fighting kit, carried out at Nîmes-Garons airport, a civil security base.
Airbus delivered 63 aircraft in June, as reported by industry circles. The aircraft manufacturer declined to comment on this. At the Paris Air Show last month, Airbus recorded total aircraft orders worth 21 billion US dollars (around 17.8 billion euros) according to the list price.
