Airbnb seeks to launch an incentive of $750 to attract new hosts in one of the 16 cities that will host the 2026 World Cup, as a measure to meet the growing demand for accommodation planned for mid-year because of the sporting event. According to the hosting platform, to access the greater benefit it has so far given to new users, hosts with “whole house” must successfully conclude their first stay between February 18 and July 31.
