KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia Bhd is in talks with aircraft manufacturers for a major new aircraft order of up to 150 aircraft, said Capital A Bhd chief executive officer (CEO) Tan Sri Tony Fernandes. © New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd
MADRID, 4 (EUROPA PRESS) The Malaysian AirAsia has signed an agreement with Airbus for the purchase of 50 A321XLR aircraft, entitled to 20 more units, worth 12,250 million dollars (10,403 million euros) in support of the expansion of its global network. This order has been signed in Paris (France) [...] The AirAsia ticket closes the purchase of up to 70 Airbus A321XLR aircraft for more than 10 billion euros appears first in Forbes Spain.
The A321XLR have the greatest range of any narrow fuselage aircraft and are expected to begin arriving in 2028.
