The June 12 crash of Air India Flight AI171, which claimed the lives of 260 people, has taken a new turn. American lawyer Mike Andrews, who represents more than 90 victims, claims that the crash was not caused by pilot error but by a faulty drinking water system. The lawyer says that the water leak may have caused an electrical short circuit that led to a loss of power in the engines.
