Air conditioning issues force temporary closure of Gonzales OMV office

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles has closed its Gonzales location at 320 E. Ascension Street for the time being because of air conditioning problems. Repairs are underway, but officials said there is no estimated reopening date at this time. The OMV is directing customers to nearby locations in Donaldsonville or Baton Rouge, as well as to Public Tag Agent offices. Many services are also available online…
