Future Party leader Davutoğlu announced that he is leaving politics. Davutoğlu also announced that his party's activities have been suspended.
Ahmet Davutoğlu, leader of the Future Party, announced that the party has been dissolved.
Ahmet Davutoğlu: "Following consultations with our comrades who have brought the Future Party to where it is today, we have decided to withdraw from party politics and end the political activities of the Future Party in order to avoid becoming a part of the tainted political climate."
The Future Party, led by Ahmet Davutoğlu, has been dissolved. In his statement, Davutoğlu said, "Following consultations with our colleagues who have brought the Future Party to this point, and in order to avoid becoming a part of the corrupted political climate, we have decided to withdraw from party politics and end the political activities of the Future Party."
