Govt aims to turn India into food basket of the world
Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan envisioned ‘One Nation, One Agriculture, One Team’. To ensure farmers receive fair prices for their produce, the Centre would bear transportation cost of agricultural produce under the Market Intervention Scheme (MIS), he said.
