Cuba's Communist Party has postponed its ninth congress scheduled for April due to the economic crisis gripping the country, state media reported on Sunday.
The proposal was made by Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, and was made known to the plenary by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
