The Agra zila panchayat has unanimously passed a proposal to rename Fatehabad town as Sindoorpuram and Badshahi Bagh as Brahmapuram. Spearheaded by chairperson Manju Bhadoria, the changes, aiming to erase names symbolizing 'slavery,' await state government approval.
There are preparations to change the name of Fatehabad town and Badshahi Bagh area of Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. According to which, Fatehabad town will be named Sindurpuram and Badshahi Bagh area will be named Brahmapuram.
