The corruption trial of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is resuming following the end of the judicial recess. After approximately 100 days of defense proceedings, additional witnesses will be heard, and hearings are scheduled to take place five days a week starting in October.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's corruption trial continues in the Jerusalem District Court with the hearing of additional witnesses following the judicial recess. The proceedings are planned to be expedited, with testimonies from defense witnesses and other defendants to be taken.
With the end of the summer recess in the courts, the trial of the thousands will resume in the Jerusalem District Court. The upcoming hearing will be technical and will deal with the continuation of the Haganah case, after which witnesses will return to testify on its behalf. Netanyahu himself concluded his testimony in the cases in which he is accused of bribery, fraud and breach of trust about two months ago.
